Anonymous asks, “What is POF cable?”
POF (Plastic Optic Fiber) is made of plastic instead of glass. It is usually larger than glass fiber and is used for much shorter runs. POF is mostly used in fiber optic lighting and medical imaging. Thanks for writing us!

Anthony from AZ asked, “How does a wafer inspection system use eye points to do alignment?”
We passed this question over to our semiconductor technician, Jason
On an eye point system a realtime image from the camera is compared to a stored image. It uses these images to find specific points on a wafer and then makes changes to the wafer position. By doing this, every wafer is precisely aligned the same causing less defects during processing.

Another Anonymous writes, “How many data streams can 1 cable hold?”
We would like our readers out there to get more involved in our blog, so please send in your answer to his question. Just leave the answer in the comments of this post. Thank you to our readers!
