FiberLight LLC, provider of metro optical transport, is partnering with 1Vault Networks to provide optical transport capacity throughout the South Florida market by connecting diversely routed fiber between 1Vault Network’s Category 5 Data Center in Fort Lauderdale and global IP provider NTT America.
FiberLight says the agreement provides it with new partnership opportunities in Fort Lauderdale while meeting its core business strategy of supplying metro optical backbone between data centers and high-bandwidth user locations in growing metro markets.

We really take a lot of pride in finding relavent and informational fiber optic and semiconductor news to post about here. We try to make sure all pictures are clear and if not, we enhance them or remake them if needed. We don’t just have a script that cuts and pastes information into our blog every day. Checking for spelling errors and actually writing some of our own posts. Posts that are courtesy of another company, we read first to see if information is relevant and going to be interesting to our readers. If not, we just don’t post it here.
Why we take the time to post
It really is all about the audience. We know you all our using your own precious time to come and read what we post here. Let’s make it fun and worth the visit! What a pain it is to go to a blog and see it was last updated 2 years ago and many of the posts were just generated by a feed from any source that had the tag “fiber optics” in it. It’s not only annoying but we all have more productive things we could be doing.
